‘Why are you even with her?’
‘He isn’t worth your time!’

They received these questions such as these over and over, separately of course because, well, the strangers who asked them were cowards and didn’t want others to see them for who they truly were. There was always at least one person who objected to their union wherever they went. Yet they wouldn’t let those words keep them down.

She what you would call a ‘good girl’, received good marks, not top of the class but her marks were more than decent, and was awarded for her hard work. Her hair was always combed and neat and her outfits were professional.
He wore sleeves of tattoos, piercings, and smelled of leather and faintly of oil (since he worked as a mechanic part of the time), while his choice of clothing usually consisted of sleeveless shirts, so he could show off his tattoo sleeves proudly, and his snowy hair was spiked up somehow or just looked like he had just rolled out of bed. And, of course, strangers whom they had the pleasure of meeting would judge them as though their lives depended on their judgement of their appearances.

It was practically a miracle they were together, but it all started in high school. He was failing in all his classes, and it was between him getting help from someone who knew what they were doing or failing and having to resort to dropping into a continuation school. It wasn’t the fact that he was stupid, he was actually quite bright, but no one ever seemed to give him a chance because of his clothes and tattoos.

He was introduced to her by a teacher and she smiled shyly at him with pink cheeks. He studied her person closely, modest and clean. He had never seen such a beautiful girl in his life. His crimson eyes shone brightly at her as she held out her hand to shake his. His hand reached out to her and grasped it tightly. A crooked smile lit up his face and her cheeks burned bright as their lives came to a meeting.
As time went on, his friends and he formed their band and were beginning to become increasingly popular. She was the only one who gave him a chance, and she quickly found exactly how capable he was, how smart, kind, funny, just how perfect he seemed to be for her. She was even beginning to enjoy his music, and she wasn’t a fan of his genre before he came into the picture.

Time continued to pass, and even though he didn’t need her help anymore, they continued to meet every afternoon to work on homework together. One day, he gained the courage to give her a kiss, a simple and innocent peck on the lips. Yet that peck was enough to ignite both of their faces into a bright red, to match his eyes as they smiled at each other. His crooked grin and her simple smile. She began sneaking out late on school nights to attend his band’s performances and to sneak time with him. They were beginning to rub off on one another, enough to having them search for a tattoo for her, her very first, and his marks skyrocketed and he became much more responsible with her at his side. They would walk hand and hand on the street and down the hallways, the eyes of others would watch them as they would pass them.

They, the unlikely duo, were always together, despite the fact that his ex-girlfriends would try to sabotage the relationship. No matter how much they tried to destroy it, it would only become stronger and even more united.

Now, here they were, after everything that happened, he held their small child in his tattooed arms with his lover at his side. Her lids were shut and dreaming of her metal head of a husband and all his tattoos, and her father’s voice appeared into her mind, more like his grumbling about his tattoos that he never failed to do. A ghost of a smile crept up her glowing face and she shifted closer to his warm side in her side. He smiled and pulled her closer to his body, molding their two bodies into one mass as they held their sleeping child. He brushed his lips over her small tattoo on her shoulder. He made himself comfortable in his seat and she sluggishly matched them and was brought closer to him, and slowly drifted into a light sleep.
My contest-entry for the 'Innumerable Themes Contest' currently being held. Not too bad right? I did my best and I enjoyed writing this fluff! XD I hope you enjoy it! Oh, and should I make him a 'Punk' or just regular Prussia? I feel like I should put a Punk!Prussia instead of Prussia, but anyway...Sorry for the length!

I also tried a different sort of approach to writing this time...I hope it won't kill me later on...XD
Theme: #10, Tattoo
